About us
ECONO-HEAT was founded in August 1990 in Cape Town, South Africa. Production began with an initial capacity of 50 units per day. Between 1990 and 2003, the production capacity increased to 500 heaters per day or 130.000 per year.
In 1997 the ECONO-HEAT Wall Panel Heater won the "Most Innovative Product" award at the DESIGN FOR LIVING EXHIBITION - Cape Town's premier consumer lifestyles exhibition.
The business changed hands in 2004 with Pieter Bräsler as its new Managing Director. Production capacity has since increased to 1.200 units per day or 300.000 per year. Presently ECONO-HEAT is further expanding its production facilities which will lift the production capacity from 300.000 to 1.200.000 units per annum.
ECONO-HEAT presently sells its products in 40 countries worldwide.
Econo-Heat Mediterranean
Econo-Heat Mediterranean (Econo-Heat Spain S.L.) was first established in Spain in 1998 and has grown from a one-person company selling individual panels, to today’s multi-national team importing and selling panels in large quantities through this website, and through major stores as well as small shops.
The Head Office has remained in Tarifa, Andalucia and it is from this same office that Econo-Heat has grown rapidly, and is now not only selling throughout Spain and Portugal but has also recently expanded into other countries round the Mediterranean.
Econo-Heat Mediterranean is a young and very dynamic company with an excellent track record. However, most important of all is that we are a TEAM, service-oriented and professional. We understand the concept of service with a smile. We understand that our clients are all-important. We have utter confidence in our products.
